Welcome to LoveTheWayuThink.com
This blog is about breaking down and examining life’s oldest mysteries while trying to open a forum for dialogue around the ideas of self-love, self-acceptance, and a more loving approach to the thoughts that frame our notion that life is strife.
For the vast majority of my life I lived “unconscious” or on “auto-pilot”, as most of us seem to being doing these days, but I always felt a little like Neo in The Matrix, like there was something “off” about what I was feeling and how I was interpreting the world around me.
Then, over a year ago, I was introduced to Eckhart Tolle’s book The Power of Now and I began to see what it was that was giving me that sensation.
It’s the underlying belief structure most of us share based on society, culture, and our family history; the simple misguided understanding that the world is a cold and brutal place.
If this sounds like I’m saying that’s a “bad” thing, I’m not;
So, why are we here, no really, philosophically, why are any of us here?
Well, in all seriousness and glaring immodesty, I think I’ve figured out the truth behind that question and many more like it and I look forward to outlining the why behind the what I’ve found that’s giving rise to my new found understanding.
If nothing you’ve read so far is sticking out there is one fact I hope will always remain very clear and will allow us to always keep moving forward as the weeks and months unfold;
My truth is my truth and your truth is your truth
Core to all of my beliefs is an idea similar to the ideas outlined in General Relativity.
Simply stated; I’m only blessed with the ability to measure and/or take stock of this universe at the intersection point where you and I start to compare our separate points of reference. [More to come on the insane overlap of science and faith that’s been staring us in the face since Einstein first crafted his theory more than a century back]
That said, we can have totally opposing opinions and still be friends. So, please believe me when I say wholeheartedly;
Even if we don’t agree I’ll always… love the way you think
I hope you’ll join me on a journey of self-discovery and cosmic exploration that will hopefully have us all learning with, laughing at, and loving this universe the way the driving force behind our thoughts, emotions, and actions in our lives can all agree on (or at the very least, agree to disagree).
This universe is made up of intersections between energy, forces, and paradoxical conundrums where even the choice to observe, or not observe, seems to actively be a part of helping it all come together.
Will you choose to see if our universes can be expanded a little more by comparing notes of the view from our individual seats?
